Do you like Where you Are?
If you like where you are then the answer is simple. Move somewhere else within the city or near the city. This keeps you proximal to a place you are already comfortable.
Do you want to Stay Close for Family?
If you don’t want to leave your family, it’s a great idea to either move to somewhere close by or move to an area that is near the highway. This at least makes you much more accessible, but try never to be farther than an hour away.
How old are you?
If you are under the age of thirty, check out places near college communities. Chances are this will put you in contact with people of similar interest and ages as well as put you near a competitive market for job hunting.
Are you Connected to a Profession?
If you are connected to an area because of your location, then chances are you are going to have to orbit around there unless you are comfortable transferring or putting yourself out there for a new job somewhere else. Go to where the money is.
