After the release of our blog last week on packing service, we’ve been receiving a lot of questions. The biggest question being “what’s the difference between packers and movers?” While there isn’t much of a difference between the two of them, there is still enough of a difference to prompt a response out of us.
Difference between Packers and Movers Services
Firstly, packing services entail employees taking all of the objects ready for the move and packing them securely. If you were to hire a packing service exclusively, all that would happen would be your items entering boxes. While they may move them around your house, it is mainly an organizational job the requires specificity and speed.
When you hire a moving service, the movers will be taking all of the boxes, placing them up for transport and bringing them to the ideal location. When you hire a moving service, you are mainly hiring our muscles and mobility.
That’s the difference in the services. You have two different types of services that are fundamental parts of the same thing but not. If you hire our complete package service which includes packing, moving, and unpacking, it will end up being the same group that does everything.
